REHABILITATION

Animal rehabilitation is a very large part of my life and work. It is, in fact, a calling that has become my whole life. I have been saving animals of all kinds since I was a kid.

As an Animal Control Officer, I provide a home to a multitude of dumped, unwanted and difficult companion animals.

As a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator, I have rehabilitated thousands of orphaned and injured wild animals. I am a co-founder and member of NEW ARC, a sister non-profit, for the care of injured and orphaned wildlife. The difference being the goal with wildlife is to release them back into their natural habitat, so they do not remain here.

As a homeowner who just wanted to get away from it all, I made Barre MA my home. I moved out into the boonies in a big farming area. It was only a matter of time before farm animals were added to the list of animals requiring rehabilitation and sanctuary!

I am that person, living their dream and taking in whatever animals I want to.....because I CAN....and because I have to! There is so much wrong with the world these days.

Here, in this little sanctuary, everything is safe and good, loved and HAPPY!
